Verdict
With the new football season having just kicked off, footie obsessives will no doubt be scouring the web for every last snippet of news and information on their teams. If that sounds like you, UK Sports News could be a vital weapon in your information gathering arsenal. It takes the sports feeds from the BBC and Sky websites and combines them together in a single new reader app that’s quick to load and straightforward to use.
It makes it easy to check fixtures or view results, and you can even set up favourites to make it easy to follow your favourite team or teams. As well as the English leagues it also lets you see news on foreign leagues such as Serie A and the Bundesliga. Some other sports are covered too, including Rugby and Formula One.
Verdict
UK Sports News isn’t the most complicated app in the world, but what it does, it does well.
