The last book in the Grishaverse trilogy. I loved it the most but only after the book 1. We see more of The Darkling here 😍😍
Alina’s powers are more obvious, she knows how to control it, and i think she’s a much better person here. Her personality is very different from the 1st book, more lovable too.
We see new friendships, but most of all, the problems they face which only Alina can solve. I love the legend that was introduced, Its quite different and totally not what I expected. Alina’s relationship with the Darkling is still rocky, with her trying as much as possible to get rid of him. Stumhpil turns out to be Prince Nikolai! I still love his scenes and witty attitude. Though i think Leigh was confused about what to do with him 😂 She couldn’t kill him and so she made him have that awful disease or whatever it was.
As for Mal, hmm. He’s still the same. Though i noticed some positive changes as well. The ending was sad in a way, i felt Alina was running away from her country and hiding, leaving Nikolai and everyone else to solve the matters. Also, I surely hope My Darkling is still there somewhere because he needs to come back and fight 😭😭😭
