  • ABYSS

  • PUPAL

This experiment is well and truly over. I had a horrendously difficult game today, due to a combination of very difficult words and the fact that I’m not currently using my tried-and-tested strategy for Quordle. Well, no more – I’m back to normal tomorrow, having nearly lost my streak here.

In fairness, it is a very difficult set of words. All four are unusually spelled and fairly uncommon, with ABYSS having a repeated S and an out-of-position Y, BEEFY having a double E, OCTET with its two Ts and PUPAL with a pair of Ps. It very nearly beat me and I suspect it will have challenged most people today.
