Viewers of The Kardashians have been left divided over Kim and Khloé’s recent dispute.
If you missed it, the sisters clashed in this week’s episode after Kim criticized Khloé for FaceTiming her 6-year-old daughter, True, during a family dinner on vacation in Aspen.
A clearly annoyed Kim said of Khloé: “She just is so stuck on what’s going on at home that she can’t have a good time… We don’t get to do this very often anymore. It’s really rare that we go on these family vacations, and I just want [her] to enjoy the dinner, enjoy the moment, be present with us.”
Kris also sided with Kim, suggesting that Khloé needed to put her phone down and be present with her family.
In a separate confessional, Khloé called Kim and Kris out for making her feel “attacked.” She said, “Wait, I’m supposed to be more present, but Kim hasn’t looked up from her phone the entire dinner? She’s scrolling Instagram! … This is why I don’t like to leave the gates. Because I just feel like I get attacked every fucking second.”
The subject was raised again the following day when Khloé FaceTimed True while she and Kim were eating breakfast. Kim described Khloé’s phone calls as “annoying” in a private confessional.
Khloé asked Kim if she was triggered by the FaceTime call, telling her, “You’re the one always wanting to say I put my kids first, I spend too much time with them, I never leave the house. We have a very short amount of time that they even wanna be with us.”
Kim said that she has no issue with Khloé being present with her kids, although she wants her to be present with her sisters when she’s away from her little ones.
Once the episode aired, several viewers of The Kardashians took to X (formerly Twitter) to express their thoughts on Kim and Khloé’s dispute.
On one hand, numerous fans called Kim out for “picking on” Khloé, suggesting she wasn’t letting her “be a mother.”
“There’s literally no way Kim is this pressed about Khloe talking to her 6 year old,” one post read. “them cute ass two second interactions got you that angry miss ma’am??”
“Can someone please explain to me what Kim’s problem is with Khloe being a present mom? It’s so weird that she’s rolling her eyes everytime she facetimes her kids and Kris jumping on the bandwagon,” another person wrote.
“I can’t with the [way] Kim eyerolls at Khloe actually having a relationship with her kids,” one Reddit user said, while another branded Kim as “insufferable.”
“Why has Kim such a problem with khloe having a routine with her kids and wanting to be with them?” someone else questioned. “Khloe’s right, kids are only small for so long and she’s enjoying it – I don’t see why that’s a problem.”
However, other viewers argued that Kim was in the right to call Khloé out, suggesting that she should give her sisters and mom her undivided attention while they’re out at dinner together.
“You’re at a dinner with your family, you can FaceTime your child later or before the dinner,” one tweet read.
“No one said dont be a mum but can you atleast put your phone down for one minute? It doesnt make you a bad parent to spend time with other people in your life,” said another.
