WhatsApp Beta for Android 2.24.19.35 is here and WhatsApp is rolling out some new updates through Google Play Beta Program. In the new update, Meta has a new Meta AI assistant feature for WhatsApp Business. With the help of Meta AI assistant, WhatsApp Businesses will get new insights on how to enhance their business and apply new strategies in their chats that could work in their favor. They will also be able to make creative and fun content for their customers like ads and images.
On the other hand, WhatsApp Beta for Android encountered a bug on its feature to lock and filter chats. Many users reported on the Beta version of this update that the bug isn’t letting them open their locker or filtered chats. They said that they cannot even see their blocked or filtered chats on WhatsApp’s interface which was making them frustrated. Users said that they are worried about not opening their sensitive chats which is a huge concern for WhatsApp.
Users also tried to restart their phone and reinstall their WhatsApp to see if the issue resolves but it was futile. WhatsApp took notice of this issue and announced on X that it is looking further about this bug. The bug was present in recent updates on WhatsApp and since many users had auto-updates on, the bug got to their WhatsApp. The new WhatsApp Beta for Android 2.24.19.35 doesn’t have this bug so users can now easily access their locked and filtered chats on WhatsApp. The new bug-free version is slowly rolling out and will be present in the latest WhatsApp update on Google Play.
