Republicans and right-wingers love talking about how dangerous Democrat-run cities are in the U.S. — and Jon Stewart is not happy about it.
After spending some time in the Daily Show monologue above debunking the main talking points – recent FBI figures show that violent crime is actually down, for instance – Stewart moves on to the hypocrisy angle. And, as always, he doesn’t hold back.
“The balls of these rightwing motherfuckers. Talking about how there’s too much gun crime and chaos in our Democratic cities when Republicans are the ones who’ve enabled the flood of illegal weaponry into our cities in the first place,” Stewart says.
“Try as we might to put up some border controls to stem this invasion, this flood of literally undocumented weapons, Republicans fight every attempt to bring some kind of order — and even pass laws to increase the chaos.”
