I really feel like this mop stays pretty clean as you are using it because of the wash section. You run the mop through it to clean it off as many times as you want and then dry it as dry as you want. The spin mops didn’t stay very clean for me. I even used this for my cabinets, top of cabinets, fridge, door frames, wall trim, doors, and air vents on the ceiling. Cleaned all of it! I even giggled most of the time because I had fun and was surprised by how well it did! Easy to use, fun, not heavy, doesn’t take up space, easy to clean in the bucket after. Which was what I would have had to do anyway if I couldn’t get the disgusting stains out. The pumice stone worked like a charm! But its length is one of its greatest assets, being able to reach even those ceiling beams you couldn’t reach before. Finally reach the tops of picture frames that are hanging in awkwardly high places. Clean off the poles that extend the drop of the ceiling fans. Dust the corner speakers mounted at the ceiling. This is what I did in no time at all with this duster, and despite nearly two years of web buildup in some high places, I got the whole job done in just a few minutes. Seriously, you can wipe down all the webs that have been built — all without standing directly beneath the duster! Promising review: “Changed the oil on my girlfriend’s car and some oil spilled on my NEW driveway…which I didn’t notice ’til four days later. Four spots, all about the size of a dollar bill, baking in the Arizona sun for four days. Found this searching on Amazon, and I thought, whatever. That’s one less vodka soda tonight for dinner. Put the stuff on (sits on the stain like pancake batter — don’t be afraid to pour liberally) and let it sit from 6 p.m. ’til about 9 a.m. the next day. It dried, and the instructions said to just sweep the stuff up (right, like I am not going to need a scraper and wire scrub pad for an hour. HA). Well, it broke apart with the broom, and the stains were gone, I just swept up the powder pieces — it took about a minute. I WAS SHOCKED! Something that actually works on oil and is easy. Absolutely NO sign of anything that was there. My driveway is smooth concrete, so I can’t vouch for what would happen with a rougher surface, but whoever makes this stuff is a genius. If they tried to take on World Peace, Earth would be a better place.” —AmazonBob

Emma Lord/BuzzFeed

Promising review: “I have two dogs — a terrier mix and a short-hair dachshund mix. I have a navy woven couch that LOVES my dachshund’s fur. I have tried pretty much everything to get the fur out — traditional lint roller, those blue fuzzy lint rollers, special vacuum attachments, etc. The terrier’s fur comes out great with all of those options. The dachshund’s fur, much like the dachshund herself, remains stubbornly on my couch. I got this product as the new ‘let’s see if it works’ item of the month with low expectations. THE FUR ACTUALLY CAME OUT, GUYS. It acts like a broom for my couch — sweeping the fur (with some elbow grease) basically onto the floor, where I vacuum it up! Give this a try if my story sounds pretty similar to yours!” —JT

33. A grout-cleaning kit to loosen up all the dirt in between your tiles, because a sparkly-clean floor can go a surprisingly long way in revitalizing your kitchen and bathroom.

The kit comes with two bottles of Grout-Eez and a scrubber you can attach to a standard mop or broom pole.

Promising review: “This is an excellent product. I have tried several grout cleaners over the past 15 years since the majority of our flooring has been ceramic tile. This product surpassed all of them. In fact, nothing has ever worked this quickly. The three best features included: 1) the instructions on both the bottle and with the product were clear, and I followed them to a tee, 2) the perfect brush that came with it that fit perfectly into my grout lines and was easy to attach to an existing handle, and 3) how easily the soil was removed from the grout. I would recommend using this around one tile first and definitely wait the 10 minutes, then wiggle the brush in the grout lines. The soil comes up quickly.” —Karen

34. A cleaning kit that’ll make your ceramic cooktop look as shiny and flawless as the day you moved in. The kit comes with a bottle of cleaner, a cleaning pad, and a heavy-duty scraper that are all designed to break down burnt-on foods and tough stains.

Promising review: “As soon as I used this stuff, I couldn’t believe it! We had a new stove that I didn’t clean for months and assumed the burnt pea juice (my enemy) would just be a new stain forever. However, after one application, it was basically gone. I used the scraper that came with it and did one more small application on just that spot, and it was gone! Every time I use this, it looks like my stove could be brand-new.” —Christi Lambertson

35. Or! A gas range cleaning spray — it takes just seconds to cut through grime and grease and eliminate any evidence that your roommates are total slobs. Now, I’m just projecting. Just spray it on and wipe away — or leave it on for 30 minutes if you’re dealing with caked-on nastiness.

This stuff is THE TRUTH. My roommate is the best, but let’s just say wiping down the stove after cooking is not one of her favorite activities. I’m not particularly fond of doing the dishes, so I guess we’re even. Anyways, I spray this on a few times a week, let it sit for about five minutes, then wipe with a cloth and it removes EVERYTHING. Like, every little spot of caked-on grease and burnt crumbs come off with just one wipe.

36. And a sprayable “miracle cleaner” that’ll break down every morsel of grime that’s made its way onto the oven racks you’ve probably never taken out to clean. The Princess Diaries was right — ~miracles~ truly do happen once in a while when you believe.

Reviewers particularly love it for cleaning the kitchen, though it also can be used to clean bathrooms, car engines, and even laundry stains.

Promising review: “This product is one of the few to live up to the ‘miracle’ descriptor. For YEARS, I’d been trying to find a solution to my husband’s stinky shirt collars. For some reason, while he exudes no smell under the sweatiest of circumstances, over time, the collars of every one of his shirts would become intolerably foul-smelling to the point that nothing would get it out, and we had to throw them away. I tried everything you could think of, from vinegar to Sports Suds to antibacterial detergents, but nothing worked. I suspected it was an issue of oils getting trapped in the shirt fibers, but even Dawn didn’t work. A friend who heard this tale of woe randomly suggested this product. I figured we had nothing to lose. I sprayed the offending shirts and also washed them in the solution as suggested. They came out FRESH AS A DAISY. Unbelievable. Spectacular. Life changing. 10/10. A true laundry hero.” —Tina R.

37. And finally, a small but impressive power scrubber to break down all the caked-on grime in your shower so you can turn your bathroom into the clean, shiny sanctuary you truly deserve. You can use it on basically any tough spaces (think the tight areas around your faucet, window sills, etc) and it claims to work twice as fast as a manual brush, so you’ll be saving so much time.

Here’s what BuzzFeed Shopping Editor Natalie Brown had to say: “I’m obsessed! This thing works small miracles: I cleaned about half of my bathroom’s grout to its original sparkling-clean cream color in 40 minutes, and it took honestly no effort at all. And — as if easy, sparkling grout wasn’t enough! — it busted through some serious soap scum buildup in my bathtub (thanks, fancy soap, and slow-draining tub) in less than a minute.

Honestly, when I first tried the scrubber out, I didn’t see too many uses for it other than for grout. But after owning it for a while, I’ve realized that while I don’t need it every single week, it’s priceless for the occasions I encounter tough gunk that I’d otherwise only conquer with excessive patience and elbow grease.”
