Here’s What The New Season Of “Only Murders In The Building” Is About
It’s once again time to see what our daring, podcasting trio is up to.
There are obviously spoilers ahead. Proceed with caution!
But before we dive into the plot of Season 4, here’s a quick reminder of the cliffhanger at the end of Season 3:
After Charles (Steve Martin), Oliver (Martin Short), and Mabel (Selena Gomez) wrap up the end of their most recent case, the audience witnesses an unexpected death: Charles’ former stunt double Sazz (played by Jane Lynch) is shot dead in his apartment.
Going into Season 4, the trio’s main mystery is solving which of Arconia’s West Tower residents could be guilty of murder…and if the killer was aiming for Sazz or if the real target was actually Charles.
However, that’s not the only storyline this new season is going to follow. Charles, Oliver, and Mabel also head all the way to Los Angeles where a Hollywood studio is making a film about the “Only Murders” podcast.
It’s there they meet the actors who will be portraying their likeness in the film.
Zach Galifianakis plays the actor playing Oliver:

The season will also feature special guest stars like Meryl Streep, Richard Kind, Melissa McCarthy, Kumail Nanjiani, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, and Molly Shannon.
