Computex 2024 is fast approaching and it promises to be the biggest computing event of the year, with every major tech brand attending the show. Like previous years, Computex will be hosted in Taipei, Taiwan but will start on Tuesday, Jun 4, 2024, and run until Friday, Jun 7, 2024.

Computex 2024 Date

Computex 2024 officially kicks off on Tuesday, June 4, 2024, and runs until Friday, Jun 7, 2024. (Taiwan time). Unlike Computex 2023, the conference will open with a keynote from AMD CEO Dr. Lisa Su, who has traditionally opened Computex events in the past, though she was bumped last year for Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang.

Qualcomm and Intel are both going to have keynote addresses as well, and you can bet all three are going to be leaning heavily into the AI PC theme that we’ve seen throughout 2024.

Beyond that, we expect other manufacturers to announce new products from companies big and small such as Asus, Acer, AMD, Intel, Gigabyte, MSI, Nvidia, and many more throughout the week.

Asus has unveiled what it believes could be the Windows-powered answer to the MacBook Pro, designed specifically for creators at Computex 2024.

The ProArt 16, powered by next-gen AMD Ryzen AI processors, features a 50 TOPS NPU and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU, all with the intention of enhancing AI workflows across creativity, productivity and even gaming.

Asus is one of the biggest brands in laptop and computers, and it always has a big presence at Computex. This year, the company has shown off a huge amount of AI-powered laptops, from its affordable Tuf brand to high-end ROG systems.

AMD’s Ryzen AI 300 series mobile processors have been announced, and it looks like they will be seriously powerful when it comes to on-device AI, with a boosted NPU (Neural Processing Unit) that’ll focus on artificial intelligence tasks, such as using Microsoft Copilot.

Two chips have been announced: the AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 and the AMD Ryzen AI 9 365. The former is a 12-core/24-thread processor with Radeon 890M graphics, a max boost clock of 5.1GHz, and 36MB cache. The Ryzen AI 9 365, meanwhile, features 10 cores, 20 threads, a max boost clock of 5.0GHz, and 34MB cache. Both chips feature a 50 TOPS NPU.
