It might not always feel that way, though, with weapons flowing in and out of the meta with each new patch. We’ve done the research, put in the hard yards, and figured out the best Black Ops 6 loadouts.
A new entry in the CoD series brings with it new Black Ops 6 weapons and also a revamped movement system in Black Ops 6 Omnimovement. Skill expression has never been more prevalent in the FPS game, and while movement can be king, the best loadouts will put you in great stead to dominate every match you enter.
Here are the best loadouts in Black Ops 6, including the optimal Wildcard and perks:
AMES 85
The AMES 85 is an assault rifle with low recoil and immense stopping power. You can completely dominate mid-range firefights with this in your hands, opting for a basic optic, or a medium scope if you prefer to pick your opponents off from a distance.
We opt to go with the Overkill Wildcard for our loadout, bringing the Marine SP with us for when things get up close and personal. The Ghost, Engineer, and Vigilance perks will help you rack up killstreaks, keeping your enemies pinned down while you pick them off.

Wildcard and perks
Jackal PDW
Not only is the Jackal PDW one of the best SMGs in Black Ops 6, it might take the crown of overall best weapon. With these attachments, you’ll have a gun that feels light and snappy, maintains a high level of mobility, and hits like a truck.
You’re going to be doing a lot of killing with this weapon, which is why we’ve gone for a full set of Enforcer perks. Assassin provides a score bonus whenever we take down enemies on a kill streak. We’ve also picked Gung-Ho to make this loadout as agile as possible by removing movement penalties, and Double Time to speed up our tactical sprint. This unlocks the Enforcer perk which triggers a temporary buff to movement speed and health regeneration.

XM4
Being the default assault rifle doesn’t hold the XM4 back, in fact, it can be one of the most devastating tools at your disposal if outfitted with the right attachments. The mid-range is where this AR shines – pinpoint accuracy and holding your angles are the keys to success with the XM4.
Our perks aim to stay off the enemy’s minimap and generate as many scorestreaks as possible. Ghost will make it difficult for your enemies to pinpoint your location, and Engineer will allow you to spot any nasty surprises before they quite literally blow up in your face.

Wildcard and perks
AK-74
The AK and its variants are a staple of any Call of Duty game, and the AK-74 marks another solid entry in the assault rifle legacy. The AK-74 hits very hard, with the trade-off being a slower rate of fire than something like the XM4. If you can be quick off the draw and hit that initial burst, though, there isn’t anyone who will be able to stand in your way.
Our loadout focuses on a solid build for objective-based game modes like Domination and HVT. Featuring Flak Jacket to stop you from dying to explosions, Dispatcher for easy non-lethal scorestreaks, and Guardian to heal faster when capturing and holding objectives. Picking these perks unlocks the Strategist bonus perk which benefits our game plan.
