aPriori Gets Funding from Binance Labs to Drive MEV-Powered Liquid Staking on Monad

Binance Labs, the venture capital and investment arm of Binance, has made an undisclosed amount of investment in aPriori. aPriori is building Miner Extractable Value (MEV)-powered liquid staking solutions specifically tailored for Monad, an Ethereum-compatible Layer 1 (L1) smart contract platform.

aPriori’s strategic initiative aims to decentralize the Monad network while significantly improving user interactions by slashing gas costs, optimizing network traffic, and providing sustainable rewards for network validators. Monad stands out in the blockchain arena due to its rapid transaction finality and unique approach to deferred execution, which not only boosts performance but also presents novel challenges and opportunities for developers.

The core innovation at aPriori revolves around a completely new architectural framework for MEV and Liquid Staking Tokens (LSTs). This framework is designed to leverage Monad’s high-throughput capabilities, promising to set new benchmarks in the performance of parallel EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) networks.

The latest funding round is set to propel aPriori’s growth trajectory by expanding its team, accelerating R&D, enhancing security measures, and further refining its blockchain solutions to cater to a growing global user base poised for mass adoption.

“Binance Labs is proud to back aPriori’s vision to pioneer MEV-powered liquid staking solutions. We are always on the lookout for early-stage projects with potential, and this investment marks our commitment to supporting pioneering projects that drive the next wave of blockchain innovation. We look forward to seeing aPriori redefine the landscape,” said Yi He, Co-Founder of Binance and Head of Binance Labs.

Ray, the CEO of aPriori, echoed this enthusiasm: “We at aPriori are developing an MEV-powered liquid staking platform on Monad. We’re thrilled to have Binance Labs’ support as we innovate and introduce novel products uniquely designed for high-throughput, parallel EVM networks.”

This investment is part of a broader strategy by Binance Labs to foster innovation in the blockchain sector, particularly through its Incubation Program. aPriori was a standout participant in Season 6 of this program, which is dedicated to assisting founders of early-stage Web3 projects.
