Amazon deals of the day at a glance:

Before you head into the weekend, be sure to check out some of the best deals Amazon has to offer. From an all-time low price on one of our favorite speakers to a hefty discount on an instant camera that makes a great gift, we’ve rounded up a few products from the mega retailer’s daily deals list that are actually worth your hard-earned money.

Here are our top picks for the best Amazon deals of the day on May 31. Be sure to check out our picks from May 29 and May 30 as well — most of those are still live.

Our top pick

Upon its release a year ago, Mashable’s Stan Schroeder reviewed the Sonos Era 300 and deemed it the “king of sub-$500 smart speakers.” It’s the company’s first speaker to support spatial audio and, like most other Sonos speakers, integrates seamlessly with other audio products from the brand. That doesn’t mean it needs any help, though. This thing is powerful enough on its own with “incredibly loud, expansive, precise sound.” As our reviewer noted, its design is nothing to write home about, and it’s not as easy to use as the Apple HomePod, but it’s pretty dang impressive for the price. Even better, you can get it on sale for $359 at Amazon as of May 31 — that’s $90 or 20% off its retail price and the biggest discount on record.

When it comes to “the best noise cancellation you can get for less than $200,” the Beats Studio Buds + are hard to beat. Our friends at PCMag (which is owned by Mashable’s publisher, Ziff Davis) reviewed the new 2023 iteration of the Studio Buds (which we also loved) and deemed them “excellent,” crediting the deep bass, superior noise cancellation, easy iOS integration, and better battery life. They’re also surprisingly affordable and currently on sale for just $129.99 at Amazon — that’s a savings of 24% and just $10 away from their all-time low.

Released in early 2023, the Sonos Era took the place of the Sonos One with a slightly taller, refreshed design. It features new controls on top (a capacitive volume control and a new button to turn off the voice assistant), two tweeters, and can produce stereo sound on its own, unlike its predecessor. Sadly, it doesn’t offer spatial audio like the Era 300, but it also doesn’t carry as hefty of a price tag. As of May 31, you can pick up the Era 100 for only $199 at Amazon — that’s 20% or $50 off its usual price and matches its Cyber Monday price.

Whether you’re looking for a fun Father’s Day gift, graduation gift, or something to fuel your own nostalgia, check out this deal on the Kodak Mini Shot 3 Retro — an instant digital camera that lets you print 3×3 inch photo son the spot. Thanks to its 4PASS technology, your prints will be protected against fingerprints and water to make them last. It’s also equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, so you can print out photos from your phone, and Kodak app access, so you can add fun filters and frames before printing. It regularly costs $179.99, but you can get it on sale for just $125.99 as of May 31 — that’s a savings of 30%. You’ll get two packs of 30 instant print sheets to get you started.
