Amazon deals of the day at a glance:

If you’re a sucker for a good discount and missed out on Memorial Day deals this past weekend, we’ve got you covered. We scoured the lengthy list of daily deals at Amazon and handpicked a few of the most impressive ones we could find on May 29. While it may not be a major shopping holiday, there are pretty solid price drops on big-name brands, including Apple, iRobot, and Garmin.

Here are our top picks for the best Amazon deals of the day. Be sure to check out our picks from May 28 as well — most of those are still live.

Our top pick

Despite the Apple Watch Series 9’s rocky start to 2024 (Apple removed the blood oxygen sensor due to a patent dispute), the Series 9 is still alive and thriving. In fact, it just got its biggest discount to date. So if you’ve held off on buying it until now, your patience has been rewarded. The Series 9 packs a handful of fancy new features compared to previous models, including Double Tap and a 2,000-nit display, which makes it more readable in sunlight (one of Mashable Senior Editor Stan Schroeder’s favorite features). The 41mm aluminum case with GPS and cellular connectivity is typically $499, but you can save 34% as of May 29 and snag it for only $329 — that’s its lowest price on record.

The M2 iPad Air saw its first price drop before it even made its debut earlier this month. Now, just weeks later, it’s got its second price drop. As of May 29, you can get the 11-inch, 256GB version on sale for $659 instead of the usual $699, saving you $40. The new iPad Air may not be a massive design change from the previous generation, but it’s still a welcomed upgrade. “The M2 chip brings sweet energy efficiency and a performance uptick,” writes Kimberly Gedeon in her Mashable review.

The iRobot Roomba j9+, aka the non-hybrid version of the very best Roomba (it removes the mopping aspects from the design), is back down to its all-time low price at Amazon as of May 29. It’s still packed with iRobot’s strongest suction power yet and the most reliable small obstacle avoidance we’ve tested. Plus, stripping the mopping pad and water tank from the design knocks the price down by $400. With the current discount, the j9+ can be yours for only $599 — that’s 33% in savings.

Want a smartwatch that can actually keep up with your endurance? The Garmin Enduro 2 is designed to survive long runs, hikes, bike rides, and more, thanks to solar charging abilities. Use it to track multiple sports for up to 150 hours in GPS mode with a little help from the sun. It’s conveniently equipped with side buttons as well as a touchscreen, so tracking your movements is as easy as possible. And, as of May 29, it’s back down to its all-time low of $799.99 at Amazon. That’s 27% or $300 in savings.
