Safe codes in Silent Hill 2 are randomly generated, so there’s no straight answer – instead, you need to track down the note to solve it.

However, while Jacks Inn was just a save point in the old game, you won’t be able to proceed through it in Bloober’s remake without the Silent Hill 2 motel safe code. How to open the Silent Hill 2 motel safe
To solve the motel safe puzzle, calculate the mathematical formula in the toolbox memo that appears in room 107. The solution is the four-digit safe combination.
You can find the toolbox memo by climbing through the window of room 108 and breaking the left-hand wall to access room 107. The note is on the writing desk in the far left corner of the room.
The toolbox memo’s instructions are straightforward on lower difficulties, whereas harder difficulties disguise them as a riddle with the important elements capitalized. It’s important to remember that, while the safe combination requires a four-digit code, the number can be less than four figures. In such cases, simply select ‘0’ instead. For example, in the screenshot above, the formula is (8 x 2 x 33) +5 = 0533.
Once you enter the motel safe code, James automatically retrieves the gate key from inside.
