Last week, a concertgoer posted a TikTok video of the star performing her hit single, “Espresso.” In the comments section, other users questioned whether or not Sabrina was “actually” singing live, prompting the original poster to share a second video a few days later.

The follow-up clip showed Sabrina singing “Please, Please, Please. “In response to questions about her vocals, the user suggested that Sabrina only sang live for “40%” of the show she saw.

“Hate to say it but 30% lip singing 30% backing track 40% singing,” the user wrote on the video, replying to someone who asked: “Does she ever sing live.”

Before long, fans were divided in the comments section, with many coming to Sabrina’s defense. But now, we’ve had a response from the pop star herself.

At the time of writing, the comment has over 80,000 likes. Notably, the fan replied and said she’d happily speak to Sabrina’s audio engineers and tell “them to lower the backtrack voice as its way too high.”
