Promising 3D Platformer The Smurfs: Dreams Gets Playable Demo on PS5, Available Now

Smurf it yourself

As far as licensed platformers go, The Smurfs: Dreams is looking like a pretty good one. It’s set to launch on PS5 and PS4 come 24th October, but those with Sony’s current-gen console can check it out right now with a free playable demo.

The trailer above provides a glimpse at the game, which sees you exploring the dreams of the titular blue creatures. This is a 3D platformer you can play alone or in local co-op, putting us in mind of games like Sackboy: A Big Adventure.

The demo, which is about 1.8GB, can be downloaded and played now on PS5. It contains a pair of levels — the dreams of Chef Smurf and Vanity Smurf — giving you a taste of what to expect from the full game.
