The new Throne and Liberty release date is Tuesday, October 1, 2024 across Windows PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series consoles. This follows a delay from the original release date.
The Throne and Liberty release date was originally set for September 17, 2024, but a delay was announced on August 16 while thanking players for participating in the open beta. Feedback from the beta and from the live version of the game in Korea seem to have spurred on the delay, ensuring that Amazon and NCSoft deliver the game fans want to see when the western release arrives.
Some of the changes that are being implemented following said feedback include a slowed down progression system in the early game and new guild mechanics. Meanwhile, new features from the Korean version of the game are being implemented into the western release, including a new skill specialization system. The reason there is a separate version of the game is due to Throne and Liberty being brought over from Korea to “regions supported by Amazon Games”, the MMO’s western publisher.

In the two days leading up to the early access release date, the Throne and Liberty Siege the Day event takes place, the trailer for which you can see above. This event features teams of streamers going head to head in conquest battles, giving you both the chance to cheer on your favorite team or guild while checking out some of the multiplayer gameplay mechanics you’ll be getting into in the following days. The original announcement trailer, released back in June 2023, was the first to tell us of the Star of Sylaveth and the threat that looms over Solisium and the wider world. It also gives us a brief look at Throne and Liberty Morphs, a form of travel through which, unlike classic MMO mounts, you yourself shape-shift to gain the appearance and traversal abilities of another creature.
