UPDATE: Jul. 10, 2024, 11:15 a.m. EDT This list has been updated with the latest live TV deals the week before Prime Day, including multiple options at new record-low pricing.
Check out the best TV deals ahead of Prime Day.
A quick look at the best early Prime Day TV deals
Prime Day can surely be counted as one of the best times of year to buy a TV, depending on the type of TV you’re in the market for. If that’s a budget-friendly QLED model or Fire TV, you’re in luck — you even have a handful of options for decent deals before Prime Day actually starts.
While Amazon hasn’t marked any of these deals as official early Prime Day deals yet, several are worth considering if you want that new TV now (rather than waiting until July 16). More than one match the lowest price we’ve ever seen on those models at Amazon, or are close. We’re still hanging on to hope for a major invite-only TV deal like 2023’s $99 43-inch Omni 4K TV that had our collective jaw on the floor. Several TVs at Amazon also currently have a 90-day free trial of Amazon Music Unlimited attached to them — a nice $11ish per month break from Spotify or Apple Music if you’re currently paying for that.
At any rate, Amazon is wise to drop some steals now before Best Buy inevitably rolls out a sale during Prime Day, likely stealing Amazon’s thunder when it comes to TVs on sale.
Mashable Deals
We’ll be updating our list of TVs on sale at Amazon throughout the weeks leading up to Prime Day and will keep you posted when Amazon makes the big switch to official early Prime Day deals. For now, all newly-added deals are marked with a ✨, while anything marked with a 🔥 has dropped to an all-time low price.
Why we like it
TCL’s Q6 TV is one of the most impressive cheap QLED TVs out there right now, so the opportunity to score the big 65-inch version for under $400 (taking the cake for the cheapest it’s ever been at Amazon) is seriously sweet for anyone looking to ditch their old, muted LED TV. For the price, the Q6 gets bright enough to make HDR worthwhile, complemented by the noticeable boosted color accuracy from the layer of quantum dots.

Frequently Asked Questions
Amazon Prime Day is a sitewide sale event open (mostly) exclusively to paid Amazon Prime members, plus people currently using their free trial. Prime Day 2024 is the 10th anniversary of the event and will take place from Tuesday, July 16 through Wednesday, July 17, lining up with a majority of the mid-July time slots we’ve seen in Prime Days past.
The “mostly” caveat sometimes applies to categories like TVs, in which Amazon seems to match TV prices from Prime Day competition sales from rivals like Best Buy and Samsung. These are more likely to be open to the general public and may be coincidentally happening during Prime Day, but not officially marked as a Prime Day deal.
Prime Day also isn’t the only big sale of the year that Amazon gatekeeps just for Prime members, though it is the only event formally called Prime Day. The other big one, most recently dubbed “Prime Big Deal Days” in 2023, hits in the fall right before the big switchover to Black Friday fun.
