Okay so this is the book 2 in the Grishaverse. And honestly i think it’s the worst. I don’t understand why some books are dragged and dragged. Though the book 1 ended in a dilemma, so it’s okay to go for a book 2. But at least it should be structured well. Some other books like TATBILB which is one of my best YA but honestly, it didn’t deserve a book 3. I’m still working up my nerves to read that one. I didn’t get to see my hot Darkling here, so that was not good. I felt bored because I feel his appearance changes the whole game all the time! HE IS TOO HOT!
Back to Seige and Storm. It has about 200 plus pages, the first half is boring. Nothing to show for. The second part is a bit better. But the last few pages is where it got really interesting. And then there’s book 3. I think it would have been better if book 2 and 3 were put together as one. Tbh there were some hot scenes in this one, so yeah, if you want to read a hot fantasy book, then the Grishaverse is the answer.
Alina here was the same more or less. Trying to work with her powers, Mal hindering her and her suppressing her affection towards the Darkling 😍 We didn’t even get to see more of him, i don’t know why. Maybe the book would have been more interesting. Anyway i hope to see more of him in the next book.
Here we’re introduced to a new character, Stumbhod. I’d say he’s witty and quite smart. I like his scenes, especially because of his funny dialogues.
