32 Magical As Heck Beauty Products IDK Why You Aren’t Using

1. A serum-boosted skin tint that’ll give you a lightweight, sheer finish for a fresh-faced, *no makeup* look. If you feel like foundation is just way too heavy and want something a bit more glowy and natural, you should def check this beauty balm out. Oh, it’s giving skin for sure.

Sephora

I just got this in the mail on and oooooh! It’s giving skin. I have always worn foundation through the summer and idk why. The combo of sweat, oily skin, and just being miserably hot is not fun. I wanted a lighter, more natural coverage and went on the hunt for a BB cream. TikTok is my source for finding basically everything and this is what kept coming up on my feed when I searched for a skin tint. I normally love ABH products so I wasn’t worried about if I was gonna like it. But y’all, I love ittt. It feels and looks like I have nothing on my skin. I was taking pictures of myself the other day and realized that, especially in the summer, I don’t *love* the way that foundation sits on my skin. It looked like I was wearing pounds of cake-y makeup and I do not like that. But my pics wearing this?! It just looks like I just have the world’s best skin. This is *chef’s kiss*. I kinda think I’m a skin tint girly now, to heck with foundation.

Get it from Amazon (available in 13 shades), Ulta (available in 16 shades), or Sephora (available in 16 shades) for $42.

Promising review: “My T-zone produces so much oil that the government would seize it if they found out. I gave up on blotting papers because I had to use so many during the day. I resigned myself to carrying around stolen fast food napkins, so I could blot through the day. I decided to try this powder thinking that if it didn’t work, then I would only have wasted $7.00. Imagine my surprise when this powder revealed itself to be the greatest method of oil absorption known to mankind! This powder is amazing. I dust it on my T-zone before I go out the door and I am good until I leave work. What sorcery is this!? If I am out late, then I only need to reapply once. It smells like a pain relief patch (like Tiger Balm or Icy Hot) but it 100% does the job. The smell doesn’t linger, so it’s no big deal. I have now become so obsessed with this product, that not even a restraining order will keep me from it. This could absorb an oil spill.” —Mel

Get it from Amazon for $7.50+ (available in two styles and in a two-pack).

Yeah, if you put one of these puppies on at night, you wake up, and that is all trapped inside that weird film. I dunno how it works. It’s probably sorcery.” —Jack Sawyer

Okay, so, who’s gonna tell me this isn’t my hair? I am OBSESSED with these tape-in extensions. I *just* got them professionally installed for my birthday last week and they are simply perfection. So so versatile! I’m a clip-in girly but I got these and even though it’s 98 degrees (no Nick Lachey) outside in Maryland, I could not wait for fall to put them in. These are so so freakin’ beautiful, seamless, and it looks like it’s growing out of my scalp. I do recommend that if you have curly hair, get the curly ones for summer! I have to take these out next week because the tape-ins are straight (I’m kicking myself for not getting the curly ones), my hair is naturally curly, I’m sweating bullets, and I wanna go to the pool without having curly hair and bone straight extensions after. So I sadly have to take ’em out early, but please believe when the temperatures drop in October, these are going right back in my head for all of fall and winter. I only want to use tape-ins from now on, clip-ins are lovely, but these?! Top tier. I used about two and a half packs for my thick hair which TOTALLY shocked me (I got four packs cuz I thought I’d need more). If you like extensions, I highly suggest trying these out!

Get a pack of 20 tape-in extensions from Irresistible Me for $119.90+ (originally $179; available in 14″–28″ and in two base styles; also available in more colors and a 3a curly texture).

8. A tube of the cult-favorite Essence Lash Princess Mascara so good, people will ask you “are those your lashes?” This mascara def brings as much drama as Cathy did on Dance Moms

Promising review: “First Swipe: The Sorcery Begins

I delicately applied the mascara, chanting ancient incantations under my breath. The wand glided through my lashes like a broomstick on a moonlit night. Suddenly, my lashes elongated, defying the laws of physics.

🌈 Second Swipe: Rainbow Realness
The second coat was where things got wild. As the wand swept through my lashes, they shimmered with all the colors of the rainbow. I gasped. Was this mascara made from crushed fairy wings? My lashes sparkled like a disco ball at Studio 54. I half-expected a tiny leprechaun to pop out and offer me a pot of gold. 🌟
🌪️ Third Swipe: Tornado Lashes
By the third swipe, my lashes had reached tornado status. They spun faster than a DJ at Coachella. Birds circled overhead, mistaking my eyes for a vortex to another dimension.
🔥 Fourth Swipe: Fiery Drama
I hesitated, but went for it. The fourth coat was like setting my lashes on fire (in a good way). I strutted around my room, feeling like Maleficent’s chic cousin. 🔥
🌟 Final Verdict:
This isn’t just makeup; it’s a portal to fantastical realms. Wear it to your next Zoom meeting and watch your colleagues wonder if you’ve been studying dark magic during lunch breaks. 10. A super pigmented E.l.f. camo liquid blush that’s apparently giving Rare Beauty a run for it’s money *sips tea*. This long-lasting, buildable, easy to blend little potion will have you coming back to purchase more and more cuz of the gorgeous, soft, dewy finish you’ll get. And that price definitely isn’t bad either.

Promising review: “This stuff is no joke. I like to use one product for my full face for a quick makeup routine as eyeshadow, blush, and highlight all at once. When I tell you I need exactly two dots for my whole face I couldn’t be more serious! Has a different, more glossy texture than a Rare Beauty blush but the pigment is much stronger. Comes off very dewy and kind of glossy but can be made matte with powder. The only thing I will say is that if you overwork it, there can be small lifted spots which happened to me when I first tried it because I used too much then had to try to blend so much. Already purchased another color. Love E.l.f. makeup!” —oscar Julian zapotitla

Get it from Amazon for $7 (available in nine shades).

Promising review: “I’ve used a lottttt of different lip plumping products. Currently, I use this one, a $40 one from Lancer, and Lip Injections by Too Faced and honestly, no cap, I prefer this one out of them all. I actually see the biggest difference with this one and it doesn’t feel awful like the Too Faced one. 10/10 would recommend.” —Autumn Nelson

Get it from Amazon for $9.98.

12. A Cosrx snail mucin serum to help improve skin hydration and soothe damaged skin. Yep, snail mucin is a Korean skincare product made from snail slime. Promising review: “I was super skeptical of all these pretty beauty products when they popped up on my FYP, but I figured I’d give a few a try and BOY am I glad that I did. The polish smells amazing, and it’s such a nice little way to indulge in some self care in the morning before work, after a long day, or whenever you need. The texture of the polish is super smooth, and the color is really pretty. I don’t use it every day, but when I use it more often I definitely notice a difference. My skin is softer, boobs are perkier, and honestly the ‘tightening’ and ‘perking’ effect does kind of make them look bigger. They’re certainly looking and feeling their best! I recommend it.” —Placeholder

16. Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen that can also be used as your makeup primer, offering broad-spectrum SPF 40 without feeling greasy or leaving a white cast. I know, I know, trying to make sure you wear sunscreen on your face can be a pain, especially if you wanna wear a full face of makeup butttt, that’s why this baby is so perfect! A win if I ever knew one.

Natalie Brown / BuzzFeed

BuzzFeed Shopping editor Natalie Brown says, “I have oily, acne-prone skin and use a prescription retinol to control things, which means I MUST use sunscreen on my face every day. My mom, who had been using this Supergoop stuff the whole time, got me a bottle of this cult-favorite for Christmas last year (moms do know best sometimes!!). I couldn’t be happier with it! A dime-size amount covers my entire face, because it’s translucent it leaves absolutely no white cast, and 10 minutes after putting it on, my face just feels like I applied a little bit of a nice moisturizer or makeup primer, not anything that’s grease-central, like sunscreen usually is. It does pill if I put it on too soon after my morning topical acne prescription, but as long as I give that script about five minutes to sink in, I have no issues. I’ve been impressed by the way my matte foundation glides over it, looks with it, and lasts with it.”

Get it from Amazon for $18+ (available in four sizes and in two-packs).

Hold it like a writing pen and twist up for the solution, the solution feeds through onto the brush (which is actually the size of a tooth) and you just brushstroke on dry teeth as you are smiling! It dries on and you rinse off. Magical! I’ve seen a noticeable difference after only using this for three days!! My husband even said ‘WOW your teeth look amazingly white’. Well boy oh boy this product changed his mind instantly! He already swiped my other pen and has been using it too. We see the difference and are very satisfied. What’s even more awesome is the price! Remarkable difference and it lasts! If I could give this 1,000 stars this would have earned 1,001, know what I mean?!” —Lisa Edwards

Promising review: “I never thought I’d see the day that you could use a regular nail polish that wouldn’t chip off within two to three days of applying it. Well, the day has arrived and this nail polish is it! This stuff is amazing — like magic, it doesn’t chip. I have worn mine for up to three weeks with no chips. Plus, it comes off with regular nail polish remover and it doesn’t destroy your natural nails. No more professional manicures for me. With this and their cuticle remover, I’ve got it made! Highly recommend!” —DLM

31. An eyeshadow color removal sponge so you can dig into the brighter colors you’ve been avoiding in your favorite makeup palette. If you stick to neutrals because cleaning your makeup tools is a pain, this’ll let you experiment with the pinks, blues, and greens you’ve always wanted to play in. Pull up that Pinterest makeup board and get to work at recreating your saved bold look, cuz cleaning your brushes has never been easier.

Check out what BuzzFeed Shopping writer Emma Lord thinks of this awesome little tool: “I picked up this color removal sponge from Amazon after hearing about this hack on TikTok and can testify that it actually works SO well. I’m *so* bad about cleaning my brushes (I know…shameful) and this makes it super easy to clean a brush in a matter of seconds. So even if I’m trying to do a *slightly* more elaborate eyeshadow look for the day, this makes the process of switching colors as quick and painless as possible. Also, it’s *super* lightweight, and I’ve already tossed it in my bag and brought it on vacation with me. This is one of those products I won’t be traveling without in the future if I plan on doing eyeshadow at any point — and it means you only need to pack one or two eyeshadow brushes!

Promising review: “I recently saw a dermatologist talk about those clogged pores on and around your nose. If they are of uniform size, they aren’t blackheads. She suggested using a sulfur soap to get rid of or minimize those stubborn clogged pores. This has a slight sulfur smell, it is not overwhelming and it disappears when dried. It works! My pores are much smaller. After applying and drying, moisturize.” —Sandy G
