This electronic toy is designed to get your cat moving. The mat is connected to a rotating butterfly that “flies” all around, enticing cats to come chase it. There are also feather toys moving under the mat, adding to the hunt. For indoor cats, this may be the closest they’ll come to getting their paws on butterflies (or anything else) and they’ll pounce on it — literally!
Promising review: “This toy has exceeded all expectations. I love that it has two features, both the toy under the mat that moves and also the attachment for the top/outside. The variety of movements and attachments and the toy’s ability to switch between the two keep my cats engaged for long periods of time. This toy is durable and heavy enough for my two 12 lb cats to play with it actively, and it stays in place. It is very high quality. Also, it is silent. So many other toys have loud motors, but there is literally zero sound from this besides the attachment underneath, which is brushing against the mat/covering.
I went on a week-long vacation and it was still charged when I came home despite being on most of the time (the sitter would turn it on and leave it on). I have had it for about a month and charged it twice. This is also one of few toys that have an auto-off feature and a mode that triggers the toy upon contact. This way, I can leave it on and the cats use it when they want.
